OUTPATIENT SERVICES: FOR MOTIVATED INDIVIDUALS

What are your options if you do not meet the medical criteria for Tres Vista Recovery’s Residential Treatment Program? If you are motivated for recovery, your best option is one of our Outpatient Programs. These programs are a helpful alternative for emotionally or chemically dependent individuals who need intensive, ongoing treatment but not 24-hour inpatient care.

Tres Vistas offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Both programs can also be used as a step down in treatment intensity for clients who have completed a primary treatment program such as our Residential Treatment Program.

  • The Partial Hospital Program—This is suitable for individuals who transition out of our Residential Treatment Program, yet still need continued structure and support while living at home in a stable, healthy and safe environment. Treatment generally lasts eight hours per day.
  • The Intensive Outpatient Program—Designed for individuals who are ready to return to work, school, or other responsibilities; have a support system; and can manage their medications. Treatment generally lasts four hours per day.

What to Expect in These Programs

Both the Partial Hospital Program and the Intensive Outpatient Program adhere to the principles and tenets of the 12-Step Program, emphasize the importance of family involvement, and rely on proven clinical methods to help you make positive changes in their life.

Whether you work, go to school or are busy raising a family, our treatment center offers individual and group counseling allowing you to get the treatment you need without further interrupting your life.

While in these programs, you will be asked to participate in the following activities, which are all led by Licensed Addictions Counselors:

  • Individual counseling
  • Small group counseling
  • Family group counseling
  • Educational classes

You will also be asked to attend 12-Step Program meetings off site.
